Schedule of Classes (6/9 - 6/30)

Beginner Fundamentals I Tuesdays, 7PM - 7:50PM
Learn the basics of Salsa including the forward and back basic, right turns, left turns, cross body leads (CBL), and CBLs with outside turns. This class is for students with no experience dancing Salsa.

Beginner Fundamentals II Tuesdays, 8PM - 8:50PM
Students should understand all concepts taught in Beginner Fundamentals I. In Beginner Fundamentals II, students will learn the inside turn, how to perform cuddle and hammer locks, methods to create fluidity between turns, and CBL variations.

Intermediate Salsa Tuesdays, 9PM - 9:50PM
Students will continue learning intermediate fundamentals as described in the curriculum.
Students should have a firm grasp on figures listed in Beginner Fundamentals I and II.

The Salsa night for April 9th has been canceled due to a concert occurring that night starting at 9PM. Reggaeton artist Nicky Jam will be playing live. The cost for the event will be $15.

Salsa classes will still be going on from 7PM-8:30PM and are still free for that night. If you do not wish to pay for the concert, you will have to exit Quisqueya by 9PM.

Our guest instructors for the night, JP and Guchi, started the night by teaching a beginner and intermediate Salsa class. There were a lot of news faces at Quisqueya last night that made up the approximately 25 people in the class. The social dancing even drew a larger crowd. After 9, the club already had over a 100 people. Thank you to all the meetup members and the regulars who came out!
